I have got this dryer that customer says is not drying. It gets warm but never hot enough, the condenser is clear as are channels etc. I am unfamilliar with these machines so a little help needed. Thanks in advance.

Further to the above post, I have noticed that the filter light keeps coming on, only briefly but it comes on every 20 secs or so. I have cleaned the filter and sensor and the mc is now heating to around 60 deg. Not sure if the sensor is faulty, would this effect filter light keep coming on?

Ok you Hoover/Candy engineers or any engineers I need help! I have replaced the heater and the exhaust/filter housing stat and still it only gets to 30-35 degrees before cutting out and the filter care light comes on, it will then gooff and heater comes on for a few seconds before cutting out again.

I have checked all connections to timer, heater, stats etc but no joy.

Could it be the timer ya think???

my first question is how do you know the heater is only on for a few sec ?

from what i can read you have replaced everything exept the timer

if all covers are on then it has to be an airflow problem assume you have checked condensor etc

run it with the door open for 5 mins and see what happens when air is not recirculated

    hope this helps
