Candy CDI 1012 dishwasher is not draining and is tripping mains electric after about 30 seconds of switching it on, Ive checked the plug and socket and cleared all filters in bottom of machine. Any suggestions please. Bad week- tumble dryer 2 days ago now dishwasher, Christmas must be coming!!!!. Machine is 18months old

this sort of fault is beyond the average person unless you have electrical knowledge
the machine most likely has an earth leakage fault and you have to find which component has failed
Long shot have you tried machine in a different socket. if the socket is sparking inside it can blow trips
most likely faults

motorthink the tumble dryer would be easier to fix
