Hi I’m having a mare with the above dishwasher, I first noticed dishes weren’t coming out very clean, the dishwasher tablets weren’t being completely dissolved & after messing around with it then I realised it wasn’t hot inside anymore when I opened it even after a 70C wash.

So today I took out the inline heater to test with a multi meter & got a reading of around 35, which I’m lead to believe means its probably OK?

I then followed the cables up to the PCB which all seemed OK as far as I could tell with my eyes & then finally I visually checked the PCB for any obvious signs of burning, loose connections etc but unfortunately not a sausage. I gave it one last try after reassembling & again as far as I can tell from the noises coming from inside it sprayed the dishes down etc, but when I opened it after it’d done it’s thing it was still cold inside 🙁

I hate the thought of chucking a perfectly decent bit of kit but Ive already wasted a load of time on something I only paid £100 for, plus if it was something like the PCB I think they’re actually more than what I paid for the thing so afraid it’d be adios to it anyway!

    Cheers.

If the heater is OK (and 35ohm ain’t bad) then the PCB is the main subject and needs checking. Time to cut your losses and put it toward a decent dishwasher as these dishwashers feature highly in the failure dept. 🙁

    Just as I feared! 🙁

Cheers for that Martin, at least I wont bother wasting any more time on the heap now.
