Hi Everyone,
We have a Candy CDI 1012 dishwasher which we think is about 8 or so years old. We use it on the P1 cycle and it all works fine, other than the water is not pumped out at the end – there is about an inch in the machine.
I’ve been reading around a lot of forums and it seems a fairly common issue, and yesterday I took the machine out and removed the pump and checked it for continuity and blockages. There was a birthday candle holder in there which I was sure was the root of the problem! Also, the waste upstand was pretty gunged up, but the actual drain tube was clear.
We used it again last night and the water was still in the bottom of the machine.
If i run it through on the P4 (quick wash) program there is never any water left in the bottom, so is it likely to be a fault with the programmer rather than the pump?
Very many thanks in advance for any thoughts.
Pete
