    Hi,
    I have a candy with error code 5 What is it I cannot find any reference to it.
    Foolishly I have replaced the NTC and the control card.

    E5 refers to an NTC or Control Board fault so it appears you’ve got it covered. It’s one or the other OR the connections between the two!

    Martin,
    Thanks for your reply. When running the factory test programm the alarm comes at the end of the cycle. As does when run a rinse cycle is this normal for this fault condition.

    Sorted error 5 faulty card and cable broken.
    Later had error 8. This has now turned into track the broken cables in the door hinge point. Looks like 5 cables were damaged prior to wrapping round some sticky tape. All now repaired and functioning OK. Put the marrigolds away
