Hi all
I have a fridge freezer issue I hope someone will know how to fix.
Previously I posted on the forum that the fridge of my f/freezer was sticking at 10 degrees, thanks to you guys it was sorted, the door of the freezer was slightly open at the bottom, thus the masses of ice. In the end I had to clamp the door and straighten it, which was ridiculously difficult.
Now 6 weeks down the line and the fridge has decided once again to sit at 10 degrees again, though this time the freezer is clear as can be, with no visible ice. I have just done another defrost which took only 2 hours, and the fridge is back to circa 5 degrees.
My question, is it a fault with the f/f or just it’s a rubbish model and needs defrosting (even with no visible ice) every 5/6 weeks.
It is an integrated frost free model, Candy CFBC3050E/1K, which is not encased in a unit.
The doors are opened for only seconds each time, so it isn’t related to being opened for long, and it is never full. Also the house thermostat is at 15 degrees so not related to the house being too hot.
Hopefully one of you clever guys know what the issue is.
I have looked for a solution on Youtube though it is far too technical..
Many thanks in advance
James
