    Hello again

I have the above tumble dryer and during the cycle last night it kicked the RCD out. The dryer is in the garage and is plugged in via an extention.

I have tested the extention and that works fine. I have cleaned the flters and water collector. I have tested the RCD i.e pressed the TEST button and that kicks out the electricity.

When ever I switch on the tumble dryer the electricty is kicked out. If I unplug the dryer and switch back on all is ok.

So any ideas what it could be in the tumble dryer kicking the electric out?

Probable dampness? If your garage is cold and poorly ventilated or the dryer is badly located in there, that could be your problem? 😉

Very cold this time of year, dryers get very hot, condensation quickly builds up inside the machine and BINGO, the RCD trips out! 😯

cheers for the post. Sorry for not replying sooner I forget I posted here :rolls:

The machine has been off for a while, so it has had no chance to have any condensation to build up. I will give it a try tomorrow morning now its had chance to dry.

Its been hell trying to dry stuff around the house.

    PS

Is there no section for Central Heating Boilers ???
