We have a Candy CIC324AK Fridge Freezer. The Fridge has started getting far too cold. The compressor runs constantly. I suspected that the thermostat had failed, but it does not have a mechanical thermostat it has an electronic one. If the thermostat it turned right up, it goes into super freeze with no problems, likewise if it’s turned to 0 it switches the whole thing off. I was going to buy a new module for it but am not sure if the problem is caused by the electronics or by whatever sender is on the ends of the wires that monitor the temperature.. any ideas would be most appreciated, do these modules tend to fail in this way, or is the problem elsewhere..?? thanks.
