    Have Candy CIC60 with faulty heater element looks like complete stripdown to relace. Any shortcuts or is this a big job.

    Removing the rear panel will access the heater unit.

    Please unplug the appliance 1st and if your not sure call an engineer !

    Heater element easy to get out but how do you get to the connector for the element

    Sorry if I appear blunt, but it sounds as though you need a competent engineer to carry out the repair for you.

    We are only able to advise so far as giving you detailed instructions on how to repair appliances is leaving the door wide open for repurcussions if you harm yourself in any way.
