When turned on the Clean Filter Indicator on the front lights up. The machine continues through the cycle but with no heat. The filter and condenser are clean and clear of any blockage. The heating element at the rear is OK and all parts cleaned as new. The motor is OK and there are no unusual noises or funny smells.

MikeB wrote:Sorry forgot to say the machine is only 14 months old. Is this a common fault for Candy. If so what advise would any give in buying a new model for around £200. It does not have to be condensing. Given the reliability of this Candy model I do not think I will be happy with another one and given that the same manufacturer also supplies Hoover that rules them out too.
