ParticipantThis machine runs for about 20 to 30 mins, drum turns both ways, heats up, then it stops with the filter light on and the timer motor is still running you can hear it. If you wait 15 to 20 mins for it to cool down it will work again.
Have tested the microtemp fuse in the heater that is ok, and as I said the machine heats up.
have searched the forums found some saying faulty heater will give this fault, but this heater appears to be ok.
I did fit a new heater about 12 to 18 months ago. Thanks for looking and any help much appreciated

Check the condensate water is going freely into the receiver tank at the bottom of the machine. I had one doing this and it turned out to be the valve from the sump to the receiver tank blocked with a lump of fluff.
Pull the tank out, remove the two screws from the sump part of the valve and clean out both ends of the valve and the sump hole with a bottle brush or a zip tie. If this valve is partially blocked, then the condensate takes too long to get away and stops the machine. When it does seep away then the machine will seem to work fine again. For a bit….
If you can’t free it up or it is caked, then it’s the very enjoyable, character – building strip down, drum out job. Lovely….. 😐HTH,
Steve.

Thanks Steve for the quick reply, but would it not be the empty water light on and not the filter light?

I did go back yesterday and strip it down, checked the water container for any blockages, this was completely clear.
I do have the wiring diagram for this dryer but I cannot see how the the blocked filter light gets its neutral supply from.
I can see the Live supply comes from A on the timer, brown wire to the micro switch then from this, the blue wire to the filter light.
The neutral come from the heater some how.
Could any one enplane how it gets it neutral feed please. Thanks
