I have a Candy CIC60 Condensor Dryer which has been working fine but yesterday the ‘Clean Filter’ light came on. I cleaned the filter on the inside of the door and the one you pull out at the bottom but the light is still on. I’ve had an engineer out but he said it was not worth repairing (the motor does not turn the drum unless pushed by hand and then is very slow) is this correct and has any one got any idea how much the motor is and is it easy to fit.
Re: Candy cic60 motor replacement (is it worth it)
usually the clean filter light is a replacement Heater which may have been caused if the motor did not run but i would try a new motor capacitor on this before going down the new motor road.
