Candy CM1 126 smart activa system

Hi, I have had the above washing machine for about a year. the only number i could find (in front of door and on back) is N.310009400530 1192.

I am generally quite happy with it, but am getting increasingly annoyed whenever I start a wash cycle. here’s my problem.
Whenever I select a prog, doesn’t matter which one, instead of starting up straight away, the 15 mins remaining light lights up and the machine seems to pump or drain(even though there is no water in it) Even if I let it do this, it will still repeat the process when I try again to start a wash. I have to repeatedly switch it off, then try again. I always let the cycle finish completely and I have checked the pump and hoses for blockages, but it hasn’t made any difference. if I’m lucky the machine will sometimes let me put a load in with no problems, but thats becoming less frequent these days 🙁 I can’t use the delay wash because of this.

Please please can anyone throw some light on this?? I am at my wits end! 😕 🙂

I’m not familiar with that model but it does sound like an electronic fault in the board, which isn’t good news I’m afraid. 🙁
