Candy CM1166 only drains

Not been out to this, customer has just phoned. He has been given this machine which has been in storage for 12 months.

He says that whatever programme he sets it to it goes straight to drain and does nothing else.

Any pointers as to what may be wrong?

it will have low earth resistance on the motor and heater or the pump and pump triac on the module has failed.

Thanks Bob, not seen it yet, I wonder where it has been stored for 12 months?

EDIT. Just spoken to him again, it was stored in a single brick skinned garage, its no doubt ringing wet with condensation now.

Have told him to give it the Alex Ferguson for a couple of hours. 😆
