Candy CNA 166-80 door won’t open

Hi all,
My first post here. Must admit that the title is no longer true: I managed to open the door by unscrewing the top and forcing it to open manually.
I need some help now as to know which of the parts are faulty:
so much force on the handle was applied that it has a crack. How would you know if the problem comes from the door lock within the machine or the interlock?
Any idea?

Probably the door lock or interlock that’s faulty but there’s no way to be sure form the info above.

The door handle is here and pretty cheap really:

Best to have a look at the door lock first and see what the score is there. If you need the lock just drop Dave a not on spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and he’ll tell you which one it is.

Hi Kwatt,
Thanks for your quick response. I’ve had a closer look at the door handle and I think I ought to buy not only a handle but a whole kit with the latch and latch plate as the latter seems broken.
I am contacting Dave to find the relevant parts.
