ParticipantI’ve looked twice, and the GIAS parts breakdown for the Candy CNW156 washer dryer doesn’t appear to show any dryer parts. It seems to show the washer dryer as a straight washing machine.
Can anyone give me the part number for the blue stat at the front of the dryer housing please or a stat kit?

If it’s the manual reset one 162C with blue writing on the side it’s part number 91213520.
And you’re right, there’s no piccie of the dryer unit, only the parts are listed 😕
Dave.

Right, I’ve sussed it now.
The part number I quoted is correct Andy, the original is now replaced by the manual reset one.

That reminds me of the chap who says he’s only ever made one mistake in his life, and that was when he thought he’d got something wrong – and it turned out he hadn’t : hehe 🙂
Thanks Dave. Where did you get the number from btw Did they put the right part breakdown on a dishwasher somewhere? The last lot of Hoover / Candy manuals have more mistakes in it than I’ve ever seen.
The stat is the front one btw. There’s another one at the back.November 20, 2004 at 5:15 pm #119965Dave_Conway

I have access to the GIAS technical website, I just scrolled through the list of spares and noted all parts described as a thermostat. There’s technical bulletins relating to part numbers there which is where I found the update.
I then used the part number to cross ref to another model which has the same stats, looked at the picture for that one and tied it up that way.
All good fun isn’t it 😆
Dave.
