candy cp2913f frost free

[baddy]

keeps freezing up every 2/3 months then all food defrosts even though the door is closed firm. have taken off back panel and given total defrost many times, but just keeps happening. any ideas anybody?

There are several possibilities so here’s a check list

1) doors not sealing properly
2) stat set too high
3) stat faulty
4) defrost element open circuit
5) defrost timer sticking or open circuit
6) evaporator fan motor open circuit
