    Candy CS455M not heating up.
I replaced the heating element 2 months ago and it seemed to go faulty again a few days ago(not heating at all)
I took the element out but it seems ok- measures 32 Ohms, the same as a new one.
Is there a relay to operate the heater and if so where is it?
Or is there another fault that can stop it heating up?
I have checked the connections to the heater, all ok.

Nope, there’s no relays but one of the thermostats will control it.

Thanks, I replaced the thermostat today and it is now working again.

Unfortunately the new thermostat has now gone open-circuit.
This is a non-resetting thermostat, so it must be overheating.
    Any suggestions why please?

The control thermostat or a blockage perhaps.

Hi, Hope you have sorted your machine out. I have just purchased a new heater element but not sure where it is located in this machine. Any suggestions before I begin to pull it apart.? Thanks

How do you know that’s the fault then if you don’t even know where the heater is?

It is located in the base.
