Hi, my integrated candy washer cmb 1206 (iI’mpretty ssure that’s the model) keeps stopping mid way through the cycle leaving a flashing led 4 times on the cold wash indicator button.
It drains but leaves the clothes shopping wet. It also leaves the softener in the drawer so it isn’tgetting that far.
I don’t suppose anyone would know what this means by any chance?
    Really appreciate any help
    Jenna

No that is not the correct model number.

Whatever the actual number is, most Candy faults are indicated by both the Start LED and the 2nd Option Button LED flashing together. (Count flashes between the longer pauses for the number code)

Yes sorry I was led in bed so just thought it was CMB but it is CWB 1206 like you say.

The fault code must be 4 then as it flashes 4 times and then goes off. There are 2 lights that flash – I’m at work now so can’t remember what the other one is but defo the cold wash one and prob the power light.

Does anyone know if this signifies something major – my dilemna is that it is a rubbish washing machine so happy to get it fixed but if it’s going to cost over £100 then it just won’t be worth it. But at same time it is integrated so will be pain in the backside getting it replaced.

    Thanks for any help

As I said in my earlier post, the error codes are determined by the flashing of both the Start light AND the 2nd Option button (whatever that is – I cannot recall) but it repeats itself after a short pause. You tell us it “goes off” so that cannot be associated with an error code.

Do check again and report back, don’t forget those specs…. :clown:

The start light AND the cold wash light flash 4 times then pauses then repeats 4 times then pauses then repeats 4 times then pauses then repeats 4 times then pauses then repeats 4 times and so on until I switch it off.

    Does that make sense?

    Many thanks

Yes indeed it does, that is error code 4 = blocked pressure chamber or faulty inlet valve. Make of that what you will but I’m just quoting what the manual states so at least you have a clue as to what to look for….all the best!:D

Thanks Martin, I think I’ll get an engineer out, there’s about a 0.01{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} chance I would even know where to look for any of that. I was just secretly hoping error code 4 was just wiggle the door a bit to get it working again oh well.

Thanks for your help though much appreciated.

If only we could solve our problems with just a gentle wiggle eh? Sadly life is never that simple and thank goodness you didn’t knock seven bells out of the door as now no damage done AND you have a good chance of a quick simple fix. All the best. 😀
