candy DFI 45 Stopping

Candy DFI45 slimline built-in dishwasher
machine drains then fills and then washes for 2mins then stops with selected program light on
if you open and close door it beeps a couple of times then nothing but if you open door and select another program it goes back to the beginning pumps fills and then washes for 2mins again then stops

any ideas anyone

Oddball machine – it is actually a SMEG with the Candy badge on it. A read of THIS ARTICLE may prove informative; failing that, “illogical” problems always come back to the pcb.
