Have a customer with a Candy CPDA140K fridge freezer. they commented that the cabinet divide at the front inbetween the two sections is quite hot to touch. I checked and it is extremely warm. Both fridge and freezer seem to be fine but what’s behind there to make it so warm as I’m not a fridge man.
It is an Anti Condensation coil (bundy tube that is formed and connected to the condenser). Hot gas from condenser not electrical heat energy. Although some manufacturers have employed an electrical low watt trace heater.
On these Candy units, they are usually only mildly warm to the touch.
Unless the compressor is inefficient or has other refrigeration issues.
