hi i ordered a seal to fit this model the original one was just felt, the seal that has come is not felt and has a sticky backing, has it been changed or have they sent the wrong seal the part no on the new one is 49116619 thanks john

This is the correct part as it has always had a sticky back since I can remember

hi i finally fitted this seal i cleaned the old adhesive off first , about a week later the customer rang to say it had partly come off again , after i fitted it originally the drum was very stiff to rotate should the seal be lubricated with ptfe ? thanks john

If the seal was that tight I would have contacted whoever you bought it from as they have modified it due to steam escaping and causing problems with the modules
