Hello, hoping someone can help. My candy go 1482 is getting part way through the wash and then stopping, the stain vanish and 90 min lights are then flashing 3 times, I belive this is an error code.
Does anyone have access to the codes and what does this mean? Also the door is locked and the drum has water in it, how do I drain it and get the door open?

Ok. Found the drain hose and have emptied and got the clothes out. Found a list of candy fault codes and error code 3 points to problems with emptying.
I’ve pulled the filter and it’s clear.
I’ll check the pump and its electrical connections tomorrow.
The fault code info also pointed towards a possible fault with the level sensor, any advice on how to check it would be great.

Well i finally got to the bottom of it,the wiring for the pump had come free from its clip and was dangling against the pulley for the drum. This had worn through the insulation and then the conductor! I have used a crimp to re-attach the wiring and all is good!
Its the 1st time i have been into this machine, my friend gave it me when he moved house. It certainly looks like a machine that built down to a price, cant imagine it will last long judging by the flimsey nature of the build. However it all seems ok now but i did notice the drum motor sounds ‘hissy’ it does not sound like bearing noise so maybe the brushes are a little dodgy?
After hearing the stories of exploding drums i only spin at 800rpm, maybe this will extend the life of the machine?
