ParticipantI would be gratefull if anyone can help with the following fault, customer complains of candy GO146 aborting programme and 1st option LED flashing 7 times. My fault code book seems to suggest motor fault yet cutomer is able to finish on a spin programme also sometimes completes a rapid wash without problems. would be pleased for any help (new to site).

Thanks Loopey, I’ll check motor & associated wireing if all seems ok is this likely to be a board fault ?

Only just got to this today, problem seems intermitent & customer not in too much rush.Insulation tested heater fine, motor fine checked carbons, tacho (sole motor), windings continuity fine. Also tested wires from board to motor even valves i have checked. Puzzled on this one have to admit, the belt however seems slightly slack could this be slipping with full load in and being read as a fault or is main board more likely ?

I would like to add that i think ive solved this one now.
Called back to m/c at weekend customer complaining of popping noise now.
Sure enough motor clicking when i turned the drum, previously i had examined the motor (not carefully enough ?) and insulation tested it. Motor now ordered, thanks for the help everyone.. 😀 -
