Candy go482/2-80 program time

This machine lights up the 90 min timer on all wash cycles apart from the quick wash, the only thing I could find wrong is the drain hose was siphoning in the stand pipe, I corrected that but I can’t correct this problem. Is there a test sequence for this mod or has anyone else had this problem?

I’m sure that that is quite normal ( without looking it up mind you ) and from memory there are only 90, 60 and 30 mins on the fascia anyway. Is the machine not working then since you lifted the drain hose or what?

They are saying that it always takes too long and didn’t always drain, after finding the drain hose incorrectly fitted I explained that that would prolong the wash and also could stop it draining, but they are saying I didn’t use to do that with the light, I’ve told them to try it now the drain is sorted, I’ll try a and download a manual to see if it says anything in there.

Manual not available for download ;-( can anyone confirm if this is correct for the 90 light to be on?

Take a look at the user manual (link below) and especially read the bit entitled ‘Fuzzy Logic’. Now because of the drain problem it has or had the prog could default to the 90 I’m thinking. Also, selector switches are a known issue on this beast so maybe, just maybe, that is at fault?

Thanks Martin, as it says in the manual any was over 60 mins will light up the 90 light, so I’m assuming its all ok and they was doubting it because of the drain fault. I’ve explained it to them and they are going to let me know of any problems, many thanks for your assistance 🙂
