my candy washing machine keeps stopping just before it starts to put the conditioner in, the lights start flashing 3 times and the door is locked, i switch it off and wait for the door to open to find the cloths wet and still covered in washing powder, iv tried shutting the door and putting the machine on spin to dry the cloths but after a few minutes is stops again with the lights flashing again, iv had a engineer in twice now and he’s really stumped aswell, he has checked the heater and the presser chamber and cleaned the pipe and filter with no luck, can any one help please as we’r out of things check thanks

    e3 is drain out failure

if its draining ok, change the heater, whether it checks out or not

    common fault

Re: candy go482 stain vanish and 90′ lights keep flashing 3

The problem with the Candy flashing light problem (90mins and stain/vanish) is usually due to a blocked filter. If not then it is due to the water lever pressure switch tube being bocked by, usually, soap.
This tube takes the pressure from the build up of water in the drum to operate a switch. Older machines have a soap trap fitted which is easy to clean. With the Candy you need to undo the top of the tube and blow through it to clear it. A combination of water and blowing hard will eventually clear it. Otherwise remove the bottom panel and access the other end of the tube to clear it properly.
