Re: Candy GOC58f tumble dryer – water empty light flashing
The pressure switch sits on top of the water receiver between the motor and the condenser. Its sole purpose is to switch on the “tank full” lamp and shut down the machine. The timer will run but nothing else will work. There is no float fitted. To get to the pressure switch and its chamber, it’s a drum out strip down…. OR try this:-
Remove the plastic water tank, lean the machine back against a wall and take off the valve at the back of the tank compartment (under the machine; 2 screws). Water will come out so be prepared. With a zip tie, rod out the chamber and squirt some water into the open end of the chamber to flush out the debris. Clean the valve (usually blocked with fluff) and the opposite mating valve on the back of the plastic tank. Reassemble and all should be OK.
