    well lads, the top button to the left of the selector knob (has an ice flake graphic over it) flashes 5 times which indicates ntc but thats reading ok, have tried doing the diagnostic on this and it has failed to do it. i press the “ice flake” button then turn the knob 2 clicks clockwise but after 5seconds it should go into the diagnostic mode but it doesnt. presume im doing it right and im presuming its the board.

    sure why would i megger it if the insulation of the machine is not in question? sure the machine never tripped and there is no earyh leakage. error 5 means a ntc problem, but i measured the ntc and it reag ok but i replaced anyways and still error 5. i presume its the board if its not allowing me into the diagnostics

    Whoa! Let me stop you there. Is not asking a question allowed when answering a cry for help then? We can all shout OH YEAH REPLACE THE BOARD if that makes you feel better? Does it solve anything? (BET365 is struggling to find the odds on that right now). Chill man, I’m trying to help. :rolls;

    Have you got the diagnostic procedure? If not email me. I’m only trying to help after all….. Catch my drift?

    Sorry martin just been a long day full of impatient customers. Ya i read the diagnostic procedure on this site and it fails to go into it when i try it on the machine. Worth pointing out that the door lock straight away when i turn on the machine with me even pressing the start button.

    Now worries there Richard. I always conclude the PCB is the last resort and, as you will appreciate, something is at fault usually to cause the PCB to go AWOL. From what you have said so far, I must admit, the PCB is, probably, at fault here. 🙁
