After starting the dryer approx 10 secs all the lights on the control panel flash all at once. The lights can be reset by holding in the start/ pause button for approx 5 secs.
Have checked the vent hose not kinked & that the filter is clean. The manual is of no help at all.
Any ideas as to what may be wrong to cause the alarm.

    Thanks in advance

if you try the dryer 3 or four times, does it eventually work?

    how old is it?

    is it in a garage?

Yes it starts off & keeps going after 3 or 4 goes but the next time it may run 1st time.
No its in a utility room not in a garage.
The machine is just over a year old.

there is a fix for that

    its ambient temperature lockout

    it needs reprogramming

    Hi Helo
What do you mean ambient temp lockout? Why is it intermittent & how do you reprogramme?

of your room temperature drops below 10 degrees, the thermistor gets out of its normal tolerance level and the pcb cannot read it

ony a hoover (or comet) engineer can reprogramme it, you need a memory writer to do it!
