Candy Grand Vita – GV 1600 THWC3B – display going off after around 10 to 12 seconds

Hi all
I have a Candy Grando Vita – GV 1610 THWC3B and the other morning at 3am the electric tripped and we found it was the washing machine even though it wasnt washing anything, we unplugged it and the electric would switch back on, I have just had the washing machine and tried it and it does not trip the electric no more but when I turn it on and turn the dial it beeps and the display comes on but after around 10 to 12 seconds the display just goes off and the washer stops although when o turn the dial afterwards it does still beep but display will not come back on until I switch it off and on at the socket then the same thing everytime i try to do a wash…I have had the top off and checked the circuit board behind the display and the wiring and also cleaned the pump out and the pipes but still the same…can anyone please help me out as I really need my washing machine.
