Candy oven dead, power only to timer

Hi everybody,

I hope someone can help. My Candy FPP6071X oven is dead, doesn’t heat up, the fan isn’t working and no lights on. Only the timer works. Set it to manual and it counts back and beeps at the end. Which part can be faulty?

If the timer is being set to manual and flipping back to auto then it’s possible the timer is at fault but, I’d check that thoroughly before replacing it.

Ensure that it’s not on some sort of program before you replace it basically.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry I wasn’t clear. The timer stays on manual. Just set a cooking time for testing and it counts back as usual. But the oven won’t start in manual nor in automatic mode.

Could be an overheat stat then, a terminal block or the function switch.

At least, that’s what I’d be looking at first before going for the most expensive item to replace.
