ParticipantHello
I have a Candy built in single oven and the model number is completely unreadable. It needs a new door seal. I tried a 4 sided universal one (from Connect) but it is too thick, and the door wont shut properly. I also tried a gen Candy one p/n09201356 but that is too thick as well.Dimensions are 450mm wide, 430 high
Can anyone suggest an alternative, or a thin universal one.
Thanks
Graham

Hi Graham
Model number will be on the outer cabinet of the oven as well if you pull it out..
How old and do you have a photo of it.

This is the oven in question. I wasn’t there at 9.35pm, the clock is wrong.

Hi Graham
If I am correct then this is a pyro oven that does not have a standard seal but a seal on the actual door.
The seal is in stock with GIAS and is available from myself PM me for costs ect.

Hello Bryan
The old seal was on the cabinet, just like a usual one, with the hooks in the corners, only it was quit thin. Not sure I know the meaning of the term ‘Pyro Oven’. Maybe its a modification, and the one you found would fit.
This is the kind of job which is costing me far too much time, but hay ho
Thanks for your efforts
Martin
I have had the oven out. No stickers or numbers, apart from the one on the front edge which is totally unreadable

Hi Graham
I have been looking through The builds of approx. 2006 – 2009 for the type of control panel used and they are all showing this as the seal ?

I would say that is it. The old one was completely perished on the bottom edge and hanging off, so It may not have been complete on all 4 sides. You said earlier it was available from yourself, so let mr know
Thanks
