    I replaced an element on my F245 candy single oven because it had blown. The element works but now the oven overheats, could this be a faulty thermostat or could it be something else ? the pizzas are far too crispy !!!! hope you can help, many thanks.

    very possible that the thermostat is faulty, yes, as its the ony thing that controls the temperature in there!

    can you hear the thermostat clicking on and off when its been heating for a while ?

    Would need rest of model number to identify – there are 8 versions.

    The model number is 36177533.

    the thermostat is not clicking but when the oven gets very hot the temp. control knob indicator stays on until its switched off at the mains.
