CANDY T/D CIC 60

Got a problem with the on off switch, it wont stay in. 🙁 Simple it needs a new one. Problem is my supplier has ordered 2 now. One too short and the other appeared to be a start switch. I.e. it presses in but does not stay in like a conventional on/off switch.
The dryer has 2 switches on the panel. Top one is on/off below it is a high or low heat.
Can someone help with a part No. for what should have been a simple job. :rolls:

Read it again Helo.

Acording to the customer it used to be a push in stay in type switch. In fact when I got there it was stuck in with a piece of gaffer tape and was working .

i wont repeat myself… you keep ordering the SAME part and come back when uve fixed it with a RELAY PCB

why would it have a relay pcb?

explain that to me?

the customer is wrong

they probably didnt notice the switch didnt stay in, because it used to start when they pressed it

if the switched stayed in, the machine would RESTART when the door is shut and that doesnt conform to current safety standards

When the pcb relay is shot the machine will run if you hold the switch in, but as Helo says its not supposed to stay in.
