Candy Washer Dryer Double Quick 1500

I have a 3 year old Candy Double Quick 1500 washer dryer. The washing machine is working fine it’s the tumble dryer thats not. It is make a really loud grinding noise. I have checked for bra wires etc :oops:. I went into local repair shop to ask his advice he says it is bearings and not to bother replacing as its too expensive. My dilemma is, is it worth replacing or do I buy a new machine. Thanks for any advice, Liz.

You will have a much better chance of a reply if you just stop for a second and make sure you have posted in the correct place, 8) 🙂

Hope fully someone will be along soon who will be able to fully answer your questions.

However if your machine is quiet on wash & spin then the main bearings are OK.

If the noise only occurs during the drying cycle and not the spin then the dryer fan motor or fan could be faulty.
