ParticipantHello
I have a candy washing machine model number GO F 662 S
It refusing to spin so i checked the usual things and found that the brushes are nearly on the metal but still making good contact with the motor .
Would this be the reason that the im getting no spin from the machine ?
Thanks in advance
Dave

Email the spares shop on the website with the 31 number inside the door and they will find the correct brushes for you

You take the brush unit out and compare the various photos to ID the ones you need. 💡

Apologies for the shop not getting back to you but we have been away on our annual conference for the last couple of days. I know Dave has over a hundred emails to reply to.
In the meantime can you post up the 31 number from the machine label as there is more than one version of your appliance. I will then be able to point you in the right direction for the correct carbons.

Hi
Had a look on the Hoover Candy tech site the carbon brushes are not listed. It may be that there is no spare part available, I can find the motor here which obviously seems rather silly.
Leave your email enquiry with Dave as he has built up a big database of cross referencing for all sorts of parts. I do hope he can help.

If the OP gave us the make of the motor having read the label attached to it then that would help enormously. From what I have managed to determine, it may well be a CESET motor, in which case these brushes should fit…..

It is a CESET motor
MCA 52/64-148/CY50
Cod. 41 024719
Copied this direct from motor label. Couldn’t figure out how to upload a picture

So when you compare your motor brushes with those in the photo link, are they not the same? (You need to compare the screw hole fixings as well as the locating lugs underneath to be sure) 😀

Well at least you know now to look for CESET brushes. This website sells all variants of that make so I feel sure we have at least pointed you to the source of suitable replacements. 🙂
