Cannon 20155E Cooker

Hi went to one of these today – fan not running, element glowing. No L supply to fan motor when tested. I need to access the controls but could not lift the ceramic hob assy off the top. It is loose ok at the rear and i have removed 2 countersunk screws from each side of the front of the hob and would expect it to slide back, but no joy.

Does anyone know how to get into these bar stewards. Would apreciate any help, thanks

Take the side panels off and you will see four screws holding the hob in position.

Yep, i found that out on the second attempt. I had a wedge of jobs on that day and this was my first one so it was eating into my time. In the end i just got frustrated with it and left it. the next day i was not under pressure and it took me about 2 minutes to sus after engaging brain. It is the MO stat – no output to fan motor.
