    Don’t tend to get involved with cookers but couldn’t help myself.

    The top oven thermostat only activates once you turn the knob to about 200 degrees then there is heat. The knob isn’t broken it all feels ok.
    I’m assuming the thermostat needs replacing but need advice on how you access it. Does the hob lift up to allow access or do you have to drop the control panel forward somehow?

    On some the stat clips in to the selector switch. Would lift hob off and look, not too bad a job notmally

    Cheers for reply, Is the hob screwed in or clipped? Just need to know I’m prising in the right places.

    Not certain on that model no. Normally a couple screws at the back and you can lift slightly.
    The control panel may have to come off to remove it completely
