    A bit of a strange one here…

The fault is being displayed in the control window… The ‘Top’ light along with the little symbol next to it are flashing. Whilst theses tow symbols are flashing neither the grill or the top oven will heat.

I did breifly get the grill to work, when i first switched it on i could definately feel heat for a few seconds coming from the grill element, then the LED’s started flashing and the fault was present.

Upon flashing these two LED’s the machine switches on the cooling fan.

The customer complained that sometimes even when no-one is anywhere near the oven, this fault would occur and the cooling fan would run. This being when the oven is completely cold after a prolonged period of being idle.

Putting two and two together i suspect the fault is linked to the machine thinking it is overheating, hence displaying the error code and swithing on the cooling fan as well as cutting supply to all elements.

My decision is whether it be a control PCB or a sensor at fault.

If you have any experience of this fault please let me know. I couldnt see any type of thermal cut-out for the top oven?

    Many thanks all
