Went to this job today. Customer reported that the oven fan doesn’t work. Switched the cooker on at the main switch, set the clock and turned the oven on. The fan turned for a few seconds then stopped, with F01 displayed in the clock display. The oven was turned off at the selector switch but the fan oven element remained on. Does anyone know what the F01 fault is before the main control panel is changed.

dont know this unit but reading your description and reading between the lines
you say the oven element stays on, have you checked the relay that controls the element to see if its short circuit
f01 may be element relay short circuit
    its worth a check

Thanks for the response. I have contacted Cannon who have confirmed that the F01 fault is the main circuit board. I have had to body swerve this job as the board comes programmed and I don’t have the card reader.

If the board come programed the you do not have a problem.

If the board is not programed then you have the problem of programming it.

The main circuit board is a common problem on this model and is easy to replace.

Oven temperature sensor fault but in nearly all cases it is the PCB.
