Hi, i,ve just bought a 2nd hand cannon cambridge cooker and now discover the door handle is broken, which is not surprising as the roller catch is far too strong ( who gets paid to design c**p like this!). how much are the door handles and does anyone sell a modified catch or is it possible to reduce the pressure of the catch
    Thanks in advance

    Re: cannon cambridge door handle/catch

The handles are normally between £10 and £20 each depending on the model (if you could advise please ;))

The roller catch is probably worn or the pin has become missaped causing the door to feel very hard to open.

    Dave.

Sorry I should have given you the model No. 10287G Mk2.
There must be a design fault with this door/catch, otherwise why would the handles break and be available as spares?
