At worst a duff ignition unit I should think but they do and can stick which isn’t a particularly expensive fix. Better still if it has a controlling arm/bar that’s just gone out of alignment, also common.
In any event, it shouldn’t be too bad price wise to put right.
you will probably find that one of the burners have got a spillage on it stopping the flame from being active below the ignition,this will cause the ignition sensor to think that it still isnt lit and will try to relite the appliance.
Cleaning the jets if they are blocked is an corgi engineer visit.
