I have a Cannon gas cooker with standard 4 hobs on top, 2 small 2 big. One of the big hobs, the one in front, has started to give out very little gas hence there fire from it being tiny. The other hobs are fine but just this one which makes it difficult to use.

Why is this happening? Is it clogged somehow? Is it possible to repair it myself or is it a difficult job?

The simple answer is no, it may not be a particularly difficult repair for an engineer but legally and for your own safety you must use a Corgi registered engineer to do this for you.

Check the Corgi website for one 🙂

Or you may find an engineer from our repairs@ database (link below).

Please do not use that burner as gas that does not burn correctly can emit toxic fumes (undetactable to human senses until it’s too late).

Hi sounds like the injector is………….

Sorry, the advice offered may or not be correct – the home user has no way of knowing whether the procedure has been carried out correctly and with any gas problem safety is paramount. Please proceed as per Dave_Conways post.
