Hi having problems with my Cannon dual fuel cooker. Not sure what model it is but think it’s fairly standard without many special features – possibly a 10430G? The fan has stopped working on the main oven, but everything else is working fine. I thought it would be a straight fan motor replacement so have done this but it’s still not working. Any ideas please? If it’s easy to repair I will do so but otherwise will look to buy a new cooker asap as have the family coming round for Christmas. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Could be door switch if it’s on that model, gas safety engineer should be looking at this one

Thanks for the quick response Andy. It’s a gas hob but an electric oven though? Does that still require a gas engineer? Is it likely to be an expensive fix because if so I’ll probably start looking at alternatives. We moved house in the summer and the cooker came with the house.

If it’s a door switch then shouldn’t be costly but would highly recommend a gas safety engineer sorts it.
