    My gas oven fires up immediatly on low fire but does not increase to main burner rate. The flame failure T/C looks fine ( not burnt ) Is the problem likely to be the oven thermostat rather than the FFD.
    Can I gain access to the FFD or oven stat without removing the cooker. I am COGI reg. but with little experiance with cooker maintenance.

    Sounds as though it could be the oven varistor at fault here? Not an appliance to mess with unless you are sure where to look to be honest. Best call in Cannon and get their engineer to check it out. 😉
