Hi, i have a cannon kendal model:C60EKK not sure whats up with it, a couple of times recently it has tripped out its mains fuse not that big a deal however this time when the bottom (fan) oven was being used it cut out and when it was put back on the bottom oven would not go back on, i have let it cool down powered off and still the same no power to the bottom oven, also the buzzer noise after power off is wierder than when i first got it lol…

from noseying arount the internets i think it may be the single timer relay, as the clock was working fine, fully lit, thermostat clicks when dial is turned, not had it open yet tho, everything else works, top oven, hobs and clock.. any ideas? before i order a 60 quid single relay

    cheers j

Is there an overheat thermostat that could be causing it?

Other than that, the clock is the likely suspect.

thanks for the quick response, i dont see any thermal cut outs but then i am not a cooker repairman, the clock comes out easy enough so i think i will start off with replacing that (altho it looks fine to me, nothings burnt or blown that i can tell), if it aint the clock i’ll call sum1 out to repair it :rolls: just need to find one in bathgate thats not gonna robb me stupid lol

    cheers j

now this is getting daft, swmbo turned the thing on this morning to reaffirm to herself it was dead, and it worked!?!? already ordered a new clock for it… was there a cannon strike over the weekend that wasnt on the news?
