Brand new- twice now it has lost all power. First time it came back on after a couple of hours- this time it hasnt(yet). Thought that first time it may have been related to a move to relevel(possible safety tip switch) and that time the gas hob worked if manually lit. This time the gas won’t stay on unless you keep the knob pushed in-honest!. Which would suggest that you cannot run it during a power cut -but it did work the first time. Power on at wall socket- no rcd trip. Just went off during use.

    Hi BobG

As it’s brand new and appears to have a fault I would contact Cannon service ASAP in the hope they can have a Gas Safe engineer to you before christmas.

Sadly we are unable to advise any further on gas repairs as forum rules apply.
