    Anybody help me with my Cannon Range Cooker (LPG hob/electric ovens)?
    The fan-assisted oven is not working, fan is on but the light does not come on and the element does not heat up. Clock is ok as is the other (non fan-assisted) oven and grill.

    Cooker is about 3 years old.

    If the fan runs it is likely the element has failed and the bulb is a coincidence, if you mean the one in the oven.

    But a model number would help. 😉

    I replaced the element but still no joy. I checked continuity of the old element with a DVM and it was fine. I meant the indicator lamp on the front panel of the cooker not the one in the oven. Any other ideas?

    It’s a Cannon 10456G trad. 1000 dual fuel.

    will probably be the oven thermostat-it is a 3 tag combined switch/stat, i have had a few of hotpoint/cannon cookers with this fault
