I can order but I have a problem with some incorrect parts supplied. I have emailed c/serv 3 times in 10 days. Messages have been read but no sign of a reply.

    weird
no probs at all for me
orders now arriving next day if ordered before 3

tech support getting back within 24 hours but i much preferred to talk to them save 20 emails back and forth

think its a silly move to fo email only but its only my opinion

Likewise for me, first online order to Qualtex for 5 months from me on Monday, delivered next day by DPD.

    Must be me!

Since the end of the trade sales representatives I have always used durable medium for communications. I find a text description with pictures of the problem usually helps to solve it in one go. The breadcrumb trail is there in case things go further down the pan.

I still can’t order from them or see stock either.
Ever since they went to email only customer service the quickest response that I have ever gotten to even the simplest of querys is 3 working days – not a good look for me when I have customers nagging for an answer as to why the part for their machine has not shipped yet.

I used to use them as the main supplier but their attitude and lack of care/response means that I am looking elsewhere first (and as I can’t order with them at the moment they don’t even get a look in).

Some business model when you dump potential sales

Customer services took 17 days to reply to a return request for some TOC51 ‘206C one shots’ I ordered, which arrived as 229C.

Looks like Qualtex have now updated the termperature of this part to match the current stock.

really hard to know where Qualtex is headed. for me the prices are ok and current service is ok but gone are the days when they were the only option apart from overpriced connect. They were the only supplier to close at the beginning of this crisis when they were a supplier of essentisal spares after all we can live without a dishwasher and dryer but cookers and washers are must haves
And now they are gradually letting customers order again but not all at once and any that have not got access there is no information as the whether they will be able to again
no other supplier I know of reacted to covid rules in this way, The effect on their bottom line must have been noticable but they made the decision to play it this way

It will be interesting to see if they come to the next whitegoods trade meeting to see if they have any answers to members problems with the service received

I emailed Qualtex today to ask what the situation is and here is the response that I got

    Thank you for your email…
Qualtex now have a spend criteria – if you can spend 4k per year we will re-open your account – if this is not possible you can buy all of our spares from
    https://www.partscentre.co.uk/

So it looks like we can cross them off the list as a trade supplier.

what happens if you are above it now but fall below it

as we all know there are more suppliers in the market these days so i think thats a mad decision

No idea, I didn’t bother asking any further as I tended to be just below the 4K, Also their customer service has gone completly down the pan now they have gone to an email only system.
I doubt that I will be bothering with their new website as for the few common bits that i looked at it is far more expensive that what I pay through any of the other suppliers.

Did take a quick look at the website
post is cheaper if you want to wait but it does say dont bother us unless its 14 days late

to be honest i am not much over 4K but lots of stuff they dont have and special orders now carry full p&p so its cheaper to order from manufacturer

the email bit is a real pain although i can ring up one person. had a great relationship with their tech guys as by the time i rang them it was a challenge lol. really miss that.
even connect have a local rate sales line and if they can do it why not Qualtex
I do feel they seem to be losing direction a bit these days
