?capacity of Kyoto KU9577 deluxe freezer

I have Kyoto KU 9577 deluxe freezer from Iceland that is now 10 years old. The red warning light is staying on and things have started to defrost. I am lucky that it didn’t have much in it, and have managed to place or use other items, so I am going to do as was suggested and turn it off with door open for 48 hours to see if this rectifies the problem. IF IT DOESN’T DO THE TRICK and I need to buy a new freezer, does anyone know the net cubic capacity of this machine (in litres). I don’t want to buy a freezer with less freezer space than this, but on the otherhand some machines are much taller and I would need steps to get anything out of the top drawer!!

I can’t find anything on the net which helps i’m afraid. Sometimes the capacity is quoted in the instruction manual if you still have ot or it may be on the label that the model number is on. Failing that there is always the hard way of measuring the H X W X D of the internals.

Multiply your cubic feet measurement by 28.3168 to get how many litres yours is as all refrigeration is measured this way nowadays.

Thanks anyway Don, I couldn’tfind it on instruction manual as the manual seemed to be for various models of differenct sizes. Now I’ve emptied the machine we might see if we can pull it out and look for a label on the back.
Don’t think I’ll try the hard way of measuring the internals! If the machine comes back to life I won’t need it.
